Heh when the brothers got home and I sat down to eat lunch, Carlos like.. peeked his head through the doorway, gave me this big smile and said as American as he could 'Hi!' They never talk to me in English (except when I overhear them using English swears), so this was very funny. I tried to respond back very American too.
And now I just overheard Call Me Maybe so they're DEF listening to that.
The one thing I'm looking forward to most about going back home, apart from my extensive list of FOODS I will be eating, is HEAT in houses. I realize this is a first world problem, and I apologize for that. But when it gets to the point that you try to HOLD going to the bathroom, because going to the bathroom requires pulling down your pants which means exposure to the HARSH ELEMENTS that are 55 degrees inside the house, it just becomes too much.
Why is it, by the way, that 50 or 60 degrees outside is a decently nice day, but 50 or 60 degrees inside is like LIVING IN THE ARCTIC TUNDRA?!?!?!?!? I am seriously surprised, based on my shivering, that I cannot also see my breath in the room.
Seriously. I was shivering on the potty.
