But before that! We watched the movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona (Woody Allen) in Psych today.. I have no idea why.
Then I met Alison and we walked to la Alameda to meet JUAN so he could help me with my stupid seminar homework. And that was fun! We ended up talking music and politics (except we all hate politics so it was really about how we hate politics and not about actual politics)
Then we saw a movie with our free vouchers because the theater was close. It was called À Perdre La Raison ... I had so much (happy) hope for it and it ended VERY sad/messed up. Like, this man and woman were in love, and the man was Moroccan but the Doctor he lived with married his (Morocco Man's) sister so she could come to France, and Doctor sort of took Morocco Man in as his son.. So the MM wanted to marry the girl, Murielle, and they did. But they didn't have that much money so they lived with the Doctor, who was sometimes nice and sometimes very judgemental.. And then all of a sudden they had SO MANY CHILDREN (4) and the mother was having anxiety/mental issues and the father was being very distant and kept escaping to Morocco, and they were fighting all the time and the Doctor cared for the kids but he still like mentally messed up the mother.. but they couldn't leave because the Doctor would disown them and the guy didn't want that.. blahlahahl basically the woman becomes so messed up that she kills her own children while the Doctor is out and the father is in Morocco. It wasn't bloody or gorey or anything, just really psychological and sad. But I think the movie was really well done, because .. you just really felt it. Like, the couple was so in love in the beginning, and then this Doctor and all the pressure just became too much for the girl, and the husband was really distant and they weren't in love anymore. It was sad though.. I can't say I didn't expect her to kill them because that's where the movie started.. like, it started during the current time and then the next scene was the story leading up to it. UGHHH I WISH IT WASNT SO TERRIBLE.
And apparently it's based on a true story :/
ENOUGH WITH THE WEIRD FRENCH FILMS, IM NOT HERE FOR FRENCH.
