Lately my host brother Carlos (who, let's be real, is gonna grow up to be a HUNK), has been flashing me the CUTEST smiles whenever I come home from somewhere and say 'Hola!'. I don't talk much to my brothers because I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TALK ABOUT but a smile means the same thing everywhere! :D I just ate dinner and they were watching like... Youtube videos of people giving funny commentary on video games.. like MINECRAFT which my SISTER plays. BAHAH.
And at one point when I was leaving for class today, I went to say goodbye to the abuela, but she didn't have her hearing aid in so I was trying to stand right in front of her and say ADIOS.. but it wasnt working.. so then Carlos (who stayed home sick from school today) was like YAYA HULLOOOOOOOO. Then when he got her attention he flashed me this huge smile and I was like ooooh Gracias! Adios! Siente mejor!
AND THEN I was taking the stairs down, but when I got to the third floor, THE OLD MAN that came to our house to use the phone REMEMBERED ME AND HE EVEN REMEMBERED MY NAME and he was like 'Rachel, come take the elevator down with us!' And I was like OMG RECUERDA MI NOMBRE?!?!?! I was very impressed. Only met this guy once and he knew my name!
And he was asking where I was from in the US, and was getting Washington DC and Washington state very confused and I tried to explain it but I still don't think he got it heheh. He's like 'It's near Alaska, right?' .... right.
And now it's Cien Montaditos time because it's WEDNESDAY which means 1€ tintos! Just one though, I dont want to spend MONEY.
