TOTES JUST GAVE A B-B-BOMB PRESENTATION IN PSYCH

OH AND DID I MENTION IT WAS IN SPANISH? AND I HAD OBSTACLES THAT I OVERCAME?

Backstory: We were assigned to present a powerpoint on an article we read, but it was a PROJECT IN PAIRS. I met with my partner once and I didn't feel like we got much done, and she thought we'd be able to finish the rest in like 2 hours another time.. but that was getting me nervous. So on Monday when I didn't have class until 7, I wrote out the entire powerpoint, with NOTES ON WHAT TO SAY and all! I knew we'd be alternating presenting each slide, but I didn't know which slides I had yet, so I just wrote the notes for all. 

We also had to come up with an activity to do with the class. She felt bad I did the whole powerpoint, so she made the activity, which was like a Trivia game on powerpoint. Fine. 

Now, she had told me she was going to drop this class, and that her last day would be after we do our presentation. So fine, no pasa nada. BUT I GET INTO SEMINAR TODAY and Olga is like 'Uhhh.. Rachel.. I have to talk to you.. She's dropped the class and she was going to come in to do the presentation today but she HAS to go to the doctor... so I've emailed your teacher to see if you can come up with something that's fair to you..'

MINI FREAK OUT. This happened at 3, my presentation was to start at 7. SO AFTER MY SEMINAR ENDED AT 4:30, I RAN HOME AND STARTED STUDYING THE SLIDES THAT SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO PRESENT ON. I wrote out all the notes just in case.. and I practiced once or twice... But I had no idea how to do her activity.. so I just put in on the flash drive and was like Maybe the teacher will let me not do the activity at all.. and just do the presentation since I'm doing it all by myself...

WELL I got to class and I was all pumped up and nervous, and I told Frank I'M READY FOR THE PRESENTATION But can I possibly not do the activity? And he was like 'Not do the activity today? Or not do the activity ever?' ... and I was like 'heh ever?' And he was like 'You can do it next class?'

BUT I DIDNT WANNA DO IT NEXT CLASS CUZ I DONT WANNA HAVE TO REMEMBER ALL THIS STUFF.

So anyway, I didn't get to present till the END OF CLASS so you can imagine how my nervous leg was BOUNCING EVERYWHERE

Then finally I go up. With my notes. And my presentation. AND OMG WTF IT'S AMAZING. RACHEL GETS A ROUND OF APPLAUSE AND FRANK IS LIKE 'That was 15 minutes of nonstop talking,' (whoops didn't know it was 15 minutes) 'You did great!'

ALSO IT WAS A REALLY LONG REALLY HARD ARTICLE.

AND THEN I WAS ON A ROLL AND I WAS LIKE WHY NOT? LET'S TRY TO DO THIS ACTIVITY. So we did it and it was really fine. So thanks to my partner for doing that one thing heh.
