That's basically 'Finders keepers, losers weepers' for Sevillanos. I learned this when I stole a Spanish student's seat in the CIEE Study Center. There are two spanish students, a guy and a girl, that are there every time I go to class - they are there to make sure we are always speaking Spanish (unfortunately, it's very easy to get by them).
But yeah, he got up to get a drink and I didn't think he was coming back, so I sat down. Then when he came back he jokingly said something like You stole my seat! And then the Spanish girl next to me said something like, Don't worry, we have a saying for that in Sevilla - 'Cuando se fue a Sevilla, perdió su silla!' (When he left Sevilla, he lost his seat! .. except it rhymes in Spanish)
I thought that was cute!
