I'm going to make this really quick because I'm so tired...

So we thought we were going to a beach in Cadiz today (about 2 hours away), but it turns out that only a certain number of people could go and that number did not include us. FINE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE BEACHES IT'S FINE. We decided to make today DO-EVERYTHING-YOU-POSSIBLY-CAN-IN-SEVILLA Day.

It started at 10 AM, at the Plaza de Cuba. From there we walked to los Jardines de Murillo, and then Casa de Pilata (which was gorgeous). Then to La Plaza de España, where we had lunch in el Parque de Maria Luisa. We were in el parque during 'la siesta' - aka THE HOTTEST TIME OF THE DAY. But there was muuuucho sombra so it was actually really nice.. like, it was hot, but it didn't feel as hot as the house gets durante la siesta. AND WE PICKED A LIME. It was muy duro and we had to open it with my keys and it was pretty sour and gross but that was kind of fun. I found out I had a cut on my finger when the CITRUS ACID started BURNING.

OH we also saw PAVOS REALES at the park, and they were WHITE. Really really beautiful. There were those horse carriages that carry around tourists (and natives if they want), and there was a group of guys in one carriage. They saw us and started doing princess waves... which was actually hilarious. Didn't have time to get a picture because I was too busy princess-waving back at them.

Okay so after el parque we headed towards Las Setas and climbed up them - QUE BUENO VISTO!!!! After las setas we headed over to La Plaza de Toros, but not before passing under this bridge with ridiculously artistic graffiti. I took like 300 pictures. We calculated (on Google Maps) that we walked around 5 miles, but I have a feeling it was closer to 6 or 7, because not all our routes were direct (and we got lost a lot....)

Tomorrow CIEE is taking us to Alcazar... right now I'm so tired I can't even think, so I'm sure I forgot something. This will probably be the best sleep I've gotten so far. TRAELO!
