I completely understand why Sevillans need a siesta.

IT GETS SO HOT BETWEEN LIKE 2-6 DURANTE TODO DEL SEPTIEMBRE. Like, between those times, I just want to be as still as possible. My homestay family does not have A/C (pero muchos ventilladores) but I still don't know how they do it!! BAH. SPEAKING OF I STILL HAVE TO GIVE THEM THEIR GIFTS.

With orientation week going on, I really haven't spent much time with mi familia, but I think that will change once I get a steady routine. Also, I'm hoping I'll be speaking ALOT more Spanish in the coming weeks... My ear is certainly getting used to it but no la boca!

I swear there will be pictures of everything someday. Sevilla is beautiful. Nito (GRUPO 5 GUIA) gave us a tour of the city, and we saw La Puente de Triana --- gorgeous! And la universidad de Sevilla? Oh my god, I don't think any university in the US is quite as beautiful. And old. It's older than the USA.

Okay, so we went to this restaurant called 100 Montaditos which are little sandwiches, and apparently the chain is coming to the US - including DC. YAY.

Also more tinto. Y sangria. We went to like three different bars, and nearly all of them gave us free or VERY CHEAP (read: 1€) sangria. So that was awesome. And like, basically the entire program was there. So of course, these tiny Spanish bars start playing American music like we're back in the states. BAHAH

I got some handout for group trips to Morocco, Gibraltar etc.. supposedly for cheap. So imma check it out when I'm not crazy busy and always tired. VALE. ES LA HORA DE DORMIR. HASTA!
