WORDS

'Brutal' is used to describe something GOOD. Kinda like the word 'sick' in English.. you wouldn't expect it to mean something good, but it does. Like THAT'S SICK! = QUE BRUTAL!

io = guy, bud (they explained this came from another word but I can't remember)

tío = DUDE

PALABROTAS (curse words)

well, cagarse = to shit oneself. I don't remember if I told the story of my friend Caitlin, who meant to say to her señora, 'Me caigo en la calle' (I fell in the street), but accidentlly said 'Me cago en la calle' (I shit in the street) LOLOLOL... Anyway, to say 'Me cago en.... algo'  basically means like.. DAMN THIS THING. I'm pretty sure. I don't trust myself to say curse words even as a joke though because I could say something TERRIBLE.

Also, apparently friends call each others 'cabrón' and 'maricón' which mean bastard and ... a meaner word for a gay person.. but apparently the gay spaniards even use 'maricón' for each other so I guess the connotation isn't as terrible as it is in America??? Also something I'll probs just stay away from saying. But still good to know !!

hay mas hay mas pero no recuerdo ahoraaaa
