Soo.. I'm pretty sure I just 'won' at Sevilla...

EN SERIO. So I was walking back to Triana with a couple girls from my intensive Spanish class - we had just gone to el Museo de Bellas Artes for an assignment. I was en calle San Jacinto, saying goodbye to the girls IN VERY OBVIOUS ENGLISH because they had to cross the street.. and as soon as I turn in my direction, I'm stopped by tourists.

Now, I couldn't really tell how much of 'tourists' they were, because they asked me IN SPANISH 'What area is this?' and I told them 'Esta es la calle San Jacinto', and then I went to say 'El barrio?' but they already said 'Si, cual barrio?' and I was like TRIANA, TURISTASSSSSSS.

Heh heh but they were super grateful and I was SOOO EXCITED that they thought I was native enough to here that I could give them directions. I mean I'm sure it was obvious after I opened my mouth that I was not a native, but I was still able to help them. It would be awesome if I could say they were native speakers (but maybe just not native to Sevilla), but I really have no idea... I kind of have a feeling they were though..

WUTEVA SO YEAH I BASICALLY WON AT SEVILLA. I CONQUERED THE CITY, GUESS I CAN GO HOME NOW..

heh just kidding i'm never doing that. <3 :P

Also, yesterday we went to the froyo shop on Avenida de la Constitucion, and we ordered in Spanish, and the lady was so nice and like.. appreciative that we were at least trying not to look like tourists.. she didn't like... purposely speak in English because she could tell we were guiris.. she at least let us TRY.
