Estoy en Madrid! (Pues, yo estaba cuando escribí esto)

But I'm writing this in notepad at the airport because there's no wifi booo :P

The 8 hour plane ride was nothing (after a 22-hour busride to New Orleans, I think I can handle anything..). Though I didn't really sleep much.. I might've dozed off and on again. The man sitting next to me (I didn't get his name) was really interesting - He was a professional translator, so he knew French, Spanish, and English.. and was studying Chinese.. he didn't say where he was from but his English did have an accent to it.. I dunno! But he was cool and talking to someone calmed my EXCITED NERVESSSS.

There was also a cute steward… omg that's not the name, I forget the name.. airline assistant? WUTEVA. He was cute. heh.

I'm writing this at 8:00 AM Madrid Time, so it's like 2 in the morning at home.. AND HARDLY ANY SLEEP YAY. And my plane doesn't leave for another four hours. BUT WHATEVZ I WILL EXPLORE.

They fed us on the plane.. it was a pretty good meal - chicken, mashed potatoes, some bean salad that I tried.. so at least I can say I tried it.. and of course BREAD AND CHEESE which is what I love about Europe. The bread and the cheese. PAN Y QUESO. bahhh And then they also fed us breakfast but I felt like I just ate.. it was probably only 3 hours later, so I just put the muffin in my bag for later.

I was wandering around like a lost puppy when I got off the plane.. looool first I went on like three moving walkways, then down some stairs, then up stairs, then on a METRO TRAIN THING… I'm pretty sure I'm in the right place. Todo bueno.

OH and can I say I watched Little Manhattan dubbed in ESPAÑOL to get my ears accustomed to the language. I understood a good amount, so that's comforting.

Most of the people on my flight were going home to, rather than visiting Spain. Which means everyone spoke spanish and assumed I spoke Spanish and then i was the stupid american saying HABLA INGLES? Except that really only happened once and it was to the cute airline attendant man so he smiled at me. All the other times I just smiled and nodded.

SHOUT OUT TO MY SISTER AND TO STEPHEN (neither of which will read this I'm assuming) for making me a card/writing a letter to me that I could read on the plane.. really helped out with my anxiety. So muchas gracias guys <3

That's all for now, I'm getting hungry and people started sitting around me and as my awkward self that means it's time to move. HASTA SEVILLA!!!!
