1. Teresa, mi abuela, is realizing how much I LOOOOOVE queso. She gives me a slice or two for both lunch and dinner and every time she looks at me like AHAHA I KNOW YOU LOVE THIS. It's so sweet and funny!
2. Today for dinner, Soraya was like, Okay, you try this, and I'll tell you what it is afterwards. And it LOOKED like what the liver mommy cooks for christmas for the h'ors doerves looks like, BEFORE it's all chopped up and mixed with egg and onions and stuff. And then when I ate it, it tasted similar to the liver (Except I think I like liver better chopped and with all that other stuff mixed in on a cracker -- sounds gross BUT IT'S A CHRISTMAS TRADITION AND I LOVE IT AND MY DAD WOULD BE PROUD). So after I finished the liver, I asked Soraya, 'Que fue?' and she said HIGADO and then she brought a dictionary and showed me that HIGADO means LIVER. SO I WAS RIGHT. Like I said, it really wasn't that bad.. it was just a little too rare for my taste.. could still see some blood :///
3. I think my family swears a lot more than I realize... Today, I heard the word 'coño' a lot, and I had recently seen its meaning because I searched the word 'cono' for ice cream cone, and 'coño' came up with it.. So now I'm searching it again on word reference, and it says it either means THE C WORD WHICH IS A TERRIBLE WORD AND I REALLY DONT THINK THEY'RE USING IT THAT WAY, or it could mean bastard... and considering Soraya was calling her sons 'coño' when they were misbehaving.. bastard makes more sense. WHICH I FIND HILARIOUS, DON'T GET ME WRONG. I'm learning so much.
bahahah, now I have to email my mom and tell her they fed me HIGADO.
